REGISTER & SET UP YOUR PROFILE
Krikoo is captain-first. When you register, you create a player profile that represents you on the platform — your batting style, bowling arm, role, and city.
Go to Register and fill in your name, email and password.
Head to Profile and enter your batting style (Right/Left hand), bowling arm and type, role (Batsman, Bowler, All-rounder, Keeper), and your city.
Your city is used to filter opponents. Make sure it's set correctly — you'll only see and be seen by teams in the same city.
CREATE & PUBLISH YOUR SQUAD
A Squad is your team of players. You can have multiple squads for different formats. A squad must be marked READY before other captains can challenge you.
Go to Squad → New Team. Give it a name and set the preferred match format (T20, ODI, T10, Tennis Ball…).
Invite players by searching their Krikoo profiles. Build your full XI (or more for substitutes).
Once your XI is confirmed, toggle the squad to READY. This makes your team visible in the Opponents list.
FIND OPPONENTS
The Opponents page shows all READY teams in your city. Browse, filter by format, and check the opposing captain's rating before challenging.
Each team card shows: team name, match format preference, number of players, and the captain's rating. A high captain rating means a strong track record of completing matches and confirming results.
SEND A CHALLENGE
Found a team you want to play? Hit Send Challenge. You'll be asked to provide:
Give at least 2–3 days notice so both teams can prepare.
Suggest a ground — include the area name and whether you have it booked.
Add context — "we play leather ball", "ground is confirmed", "open to negotiating date".
Once sent, the challenge lands in the other captain's Match Centre.
MATCH CENTRE — HANDLE REQUESTS
The Match Centre is your inbox for challenges. Here you see all incoming and outgoing match requests.
For each incoming challenge you can Accept or Reject. If you accept, a Match Room is automatically created. If you reject, the challenging captain is notified.
THE MATCH ROOM
Once a challenge is accepted, the Match Room is your command centre for that specific match:
Final date, time, venue, format, ball type — all confirmed and visible to both captains.
Exchange last-minute details — toss results, umpire arrangements, ground contact number.
After the match, enter the result. The opposing captain must confirm it before it's made official.
CONFIRM RESULT & RATE
After both captains confirm the result, you can rate the opposing captain (1–5 stars). Ratings reflect reliability — did they show up, play fairly, and confirm the result promptly?
Your Captain Rating is the average of all ratings you've received. A high rating makes other captains more likely to accept your challenges.
INSTALL THE APP (PWA)
Krikoo is a Progressive Web App — install it to your home screen for a native app experience, with offline support and push notifications.
Tap the install banner that appears, or tap the three-dot menu → "Add to Home screen".
Tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen" → Add.
Look for the install icon in the address bar and click it to confirm.
